Hi! A newsletter two days in a row!? Wild, right? I wanted to send a quick little list of things you can do or buy for the dads (or dudes in general) in your life.
Here’s a peek into my notes app — use this shortlist to snag something for Father’s Day or save it for the birthdays and holidays that catch you by surprise.
A record by his favorite band and a speaker. I really don’t understand this, but guys love technology. Any chance at a new little speaker or gadget and my husband is all in. Keep the tech from feeling generic by grabbing an album he’s mentioned before! We listen to a lot of Doobie Brothers, The 1975, Bill Evans, Ben Howard, and Jonsi if you need ideas.
A nice perfume. Perfume is so personal, and I think it’s really special when it’s gifted by a loved one who knows you best. This one is perfect, and I steal it for myself.
Workout gear and a massage. I did this for Steve a few Father’s Days ago. There’s nothing better than some time for yourself (in new gear) and then relaxing with a massage after. I recently got him these shorts and this shirt, and he is loving them.
Nice shoes. Listen. Dudes are so hard on their shoes. And although I love the summer Birks, elevating the footwear game is important. These sandals are so cool and elevated but not so far off for our play-it-safe guys. And these boots work hard (and look good) in the wardrobe year-round.
Opry tee + tickets to The Opry. I love this idea so much — it’s really personal and something fun you can do together!
Monogrammed tote. My husband loves a good tote, and this one allows you to add a painted monogram (click through — it’s more manly looking than it sounds). Put his initials on it or go with something fun like DAD.
Signet ring. A gift that stands the test of time. Steve wears his almost daily, and I steal it when he’s not wearing it!
An everyday watch. Watches are such an investment, but Steve recently got this to wear for workouts or more casual days. G-Shock forever!
Hope this is helpful!
