outfit issue: 05
this month's looks, and a few favorite finds
Hi guys! I hope you’re having the best week. It’s been a month since I’ve sent outfits, so I have lots to share!
When the weather gets cold, I get very bad at styling and have a singular goal of being warm. I’ve been challenging myself this season to be a little bit more playful in my wardrobe, and pull pieces out that I haven’t worn in a minute to give them fresh life. I’m also pushing myself to use more color and accessories. Let’s see how I did!
I wore this outfit to The Grand Ole Opry this week, and it was one of the most fun nights I’ve had in a while! I was wanting to be comfy (hence the oversized jeans and shirt) but didn’t want to be boring. I feel like this look nailed it!? I went with the Tecovas team, so obviously I wore my favorite boots (they work with everything), and I spiced up the look with some silver accents. This little bag is my go-to because it’s cute but fits more than enough for a night out.

This is the perfect look for when it’s super cold out but you still want to look fancy. The knee high boots keep me warm, the black blazer and slip dress are effortless, and the necklace and purse add a little interest to an otherwise basic look. I felt like a boss in this.

Pajamas, but make it fashion! I bought these silk pants and they have been way more versatile than I even expected. Red and brown feels a little unexpected, and the leopard ballet flats give a little polish to the easy look.

And last but not least, my favorite of the bunch! So practical and so cozy. I wore this to the office, but would also wear it on the weekends with my kids. I get so many comments on this sweater every time I wear it — I love it so much that I ended up buying one for Steve for Christmas (they’re unisex!).

Other little things you should know about…
I’ve been using this tool nightly on my face, and I have seen a huge difference in the firmness of my skin. It’s like a little facial that you can do nightly, and it connects to an app that guides you! I read or watch a show while I take 5-10 minutes to do it. I was intimidated, but now I’m a big believer. I’m late to the game, but this is BY FAR my favorite lip right now!!! So hydrating and the Cherry shade provides a pop of natural looking color. Just perfect!

Most of y’all know my husband and I are in the fragrance industry… just had to tell you about my current favorite perfume combo, Cowboy and Santalum. It’s actually insane.
