It’s been a minute since I’ve posted my day outfits because... are outfits even that exciting when you’re pregnant? I repeat pieces multiple times a week, and I haven’t bought anything new for months. I added a few affordable bottoms to my wardrobe, and the rest of my maternity wear came straight from my existing closet.
That said, I can confirm that summer pregnancy style is way more fun! Lighter fabrics, fewer layers, more freedom—and slip-on shoes instead of wrestling with boots? Game changer.
Here are some of my looks from the past couple of months. Honestly, I’d wear every single one of these even if I wasn’t pregnant, which feels like a big win in my book.

I wore this for an outdoor garden party in the middle of the woods. Closed toe shoes were required so obviously went for my Tecovas. They’re my most-worn boot of any I own! Well-made, well-priced, and nice but not too precious.
The garden party by my friends at Nature & Nurture! It was as magical as it looks.
I wore this to the grand opening of the new Tecovas store in Franklin. Ranger Station actually makes their signature scents (their candle smells insane), and their team has become dear friends of ours. I swear it was 115 degrees out, so I was trying to keep things breezy with an open top and shorts while celebrating our pals.
Here’s a real “mom ‘fit” that I wore to take my kiddos on a playdate to Cheekwood Botanical Gardens. I’ve learned the hard way that practical is way more important than cool while mom’ing, so the dad hat and sneakers served me well.
Cheekwood — our kids love exploring here. I always pack a picnic but we usually have to leave once we run out of additional snacks… IYKYK.
I love an all-white outfit year round. The beaded necklace adds a little touch of interest to an otherwise mindless (but cool) look. Also — the white tee is a hero piece in my wardrobe. I have it in all colors, and also in long sleeve versions. It’s a nice medium-heavy weight fabric, super stretchy, and the perfect balance to fuller/wider bottoms like these favorites.
A button down dress pulls so much weight in my closet for those days where I just need to throw on something and go. Another easy office day outfit, no notes.
The day I realized I would outgrow my overalls. They can feel stereotypical for maternity wear, but I actually bought these last summer, pre-pregnancy. A more fitted graphic tee and leather sandals keep them from feeling frumpy.
Last week I had a morning of meetings + an afternoon playground meetup with my kids’ school classmates. I kept it as cool as possible in the 90 degree sunshine with my linen button down shirt. This picture is from the end of the day if you couldn’t tell. No need to bother with shoes at this point!
Andddd I wore this last night for a little happy hour date to Roze Pony and preschool parent night (we are back on that school grind, clearly). I’ve had this dress for a couple of years, and it’s served me well in many seasons of life.
If you’re pregnant, if you have a friend that’s pregnant, or you’re just looking to live comfortably (me, always) — I hope this gives you some ideas. Almost all of this came from my existing closet, and got me through the past few months. Everything above and more is linked HERE.
That’s it for today. I truly appreciate you being here, and I need to know if you’ve had any staples that have carried you through many different phases of life. Let me know in the comments!!
xx
