and a surprise or two!

Spring is always a whirlwind, and this one especially so! I’ve been working on a couple of things for the past few months, and I have some really fun news for y’all.

My husband and I cofounded a fragrance company called Ranger Station. Steve is a perfumer, and my job is centered around brand growth through press, partnerships, and owned retail. I manage relationships with our partners (Noah Kahan, Dan + Shay, Lauren Akins / Love One, etc etc). I also work on opening new retail locations, and I’m finally able to share that we are opening in New York City! It’s a cozy little spot in the West Village, right across from Buvette and down the street from Buck Mason and Doen. A true dream! We fought hard to get this space for over a year, and I’m so excited to share it with you in the next month.

Next and even more exciting… we are having a baby!!! You may have picked up on it by my lack of outfit pictures, or my oversized outfit pictures when I do post them. The winter was dark… I really didn’t leave my house or my couch except to go to the office. But with the start of spring, I started feeling so much better and am getting so excited for baby snuggles (!!).

The people who say they don’t buy anything during pregnancy truly astound me! How! In past seasons of pregnancy, I felt lost on how to dress and I never felt like myself. But in this season, I’ve prioritized adding a few pieces to my wardrobe that make me feel like me and it has been a game changer.

These pieces have been my hero pieces, and they work whether you’re pregnant or not. I decided to invest in a couple of pieces of fun jewelry so that I could dress up my more basic pieces. This has been a solid choice! My baggy dad jeans (recommended by

Liz McKay

) are the coolest — I pair them with this tighter tee (currently on sale for $9) to balance the fullness on bottom. And these creamy pants are the comfiest of all! They are perfectly cropped and generous through the leg.

I’ve also really leaned into matching sets… No regrets. They are so versatile from now through the end of summer.

And a good jacket can elevate the most basic of looks.

Before I sign off, a few things I’ve loved this month:

• I was gifted this lip balm and this body cleanser and I am so into them. The cleanser is super hydrating, it smells divine, and it gets my skin clean without stripping it. And the lip balm is truly moisturizing. 10/10 will purchase again.

• We spent a few nights last week without power, and I was reminded how good this candle is! Warm and cozy, but still light enough to burn in the warmer months.
