I live for the summer. I actually have this dream of moving somewhere that is summery year round because I just love the freedom that warm weather and sunshine brings.

Some of my favorite things about summer include…

1. Tomatoes freshly snapped off the vine

2. Dinners al fresco

3. Lush greenery and colorful flowers scattered throughout our neighborhood

4. A perfectly crisp summery wine

5. Night swims

6. Evening strolls after dinner

7. Slow mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee

8. Impromptu pizza picnics in the front yard with our neighbors

9. An absolutely wild summer garden

10. A big ole iced coffee at the pool

… I could go on. I will never stop romanticizing this season! Now onto some things I’m loving in July.

MY NEW FAVORITE HOSTING SET

We host on almost a weekly basis, especially in the summer. I just received this pitcher and this glass set from Material, and it instantly elevated our dinner experience. It’s so beautiful and durable, and it felt like such a special touch on our table. I am such a fan. I served water from the pitcher, but it was actually designed with Steve’s favorite NY bar, Death & Co., so it’s made to mix up a batch of cocktails or mocktails! A VERY COOL BRACELET

I’m pretty into edgy silver with soft linen outfits. It’s the perfect juxtaposition to me. This bracelet is a statement on its own, but I love the way it’s styled in the photo above. I’ll throw it on with my other gold bracelets. Jenny Bird, $148

ANOTHER LINEN SHIRT

…Except it’s not just another linen shirt! This silhouette stopped me in my tracks! It’s relaxed and airy. Pair it with that silver bracelet above, stack on your other gold bracelets, and throw on some good silver hoops. You’ll look pulled together in an instant. Reiss, $190

LEMON WALL BASKET

Is this not the sweetest little thing? It would be cute in a kid’s room, but I’m throwing it in our drop zone to hold our mail! Precious. Roan Iris, $46

THE PRETTIEST SUMMER SET

The fabric is light and frothy, and the floral print isn’t too sweet. I like the top on its own with some drapey white pants, and I’d put a pointelle tank or that white linen shirt above with the skirt. Ahhh the possibilities. Rhode tank, $225 and skirt, $265

SLIGHTLY OUT OF LEFT FIELD

When I graduated college, my parent’s best friends gave me really nice salt and pepper shakers. I proudly displayed them on my dining table for years until my sweet child broke one. It was oddly hard for me to swallow the loss of them! I have been on the hunt for some really special ones and I love these. Bonus - they won’t shatter like my other ones. Blue Pheasant, $116

TIE BACK LINEN TANK
