It blows my mind that I get to shop for a new seasonal wardrobe for my kids every season, because they are growing like weeds! How lucky are they?
I love putting together looks for them - it brings me the most joy. I try to buy a couple of special things for them each season, and then fill in with super affordable items that are easily replaced when the inevitable strawberry stains the brand new shirt (it always kills me, no matter how affordable).
FOR THE BOYS
I really found a color palette here, without even meaning to! Cool blues, greens, and easy neutrals will mix and match well throughout the spring. I love to keep the shoes classic and quality - it will elevate the rest of the look.
Also for the striped pants - I’m obsessed and want to get a pair for both William and Sadie to match in. I love when I find things that will work for both of them!
FOR THE GIRLS
It was pretty hard to get everything to decently go together on this board, because I have a lot of color for girls. The more, the better! For shoes, I usually choose a few fun pairs instead of one or two quality ones. We gotta keep things fresh!
I recently bought the pink pants and Sadie was obsessed. They’re oversized and cool (and actually are unisex! they come in more colors). Next up, we are obviously buying those leopard pants and the cherry bathing suit!!! COME ON.
FOR THE ADULTS
And of course, a few good things for the mamas or women on-the-go (all of us). Most of these are tried and true things I’ve been using that you must know about.
This is such a great update to a closet staple. The denim is buttery and worn in, and the length makes it perfect to throw over your workout clothes! It’d be super cute over a summer dress too. Denim Jacket, $150
If you’re going for a classic pair of sunglasses for the sunnier months, go for these! Sunglasses, $98
I do not say this lightly — you need these pants! I had been looking for a pair like this for a long time. I finally tried these, and I am truly obsessed. The barrel leg is perfect, the fabric is technical but can easily be dressed up! I’ve worn these with a cardigan and flats, and with a sweatshirt and sneaks. The perfect pants, $40
Not a lip balm, not a gloss — it’s the perfect in-between. I swipe this on at the office and my lips feel so nourished! The pop of color is subtle and sweet, and the price is right. Lip Serum, $12
It’s that time of year again for me to preach about Left on Friday! This swimsuit is gorgeous, keeps you covered, and super quality. If I only had one swimsuit in my drawer, I would choose this one! Sexy mom suit with coverage!, $180
I don’t own this bag, but I think about it often and it’s high on my purchase list! I love the canvas and leather combo, and the shape makes it easy to throw on and go. Canvas + leather bag, $150
Okay, that’s it for now! Let me know what you snag for the kids, and if there’s anything you’ve been using that I must know about.
Hope you have a great weekend! Happy March 1st (!!!).
xx
