weekend catch up!
outfits, favorite things, and a womp womp fall purchase
Hi guys! We have been wild the past few weeks. We were downtown two nights this past week alone (big for us!).We’ve attended fundraisers, concerts, soccer games, and birthday parties. I’m a massive introvert so it’s been a lot for me, but so FUN at the same time!
This Playsuit!
I am such a fan of Left On Friday. You’ve seen me talk about their swimsuits. Their fabrics and fits are so great, they have so many color options, and most importantly to me - everything is so comfy!
They sent me this Playsuit and I am obsessed. I love the ease of not having to pick out a top to go with my leggings… it’s all in one, it is flattering, soft, and I look for an excuse to wear it daily. I popped on a sweater for a cooler morning, and also plan to pair it with a jacket and sneakers. It makes me feel way more put together than any other activewear I own. Not trying to sell you this, but also, you should get it. I can’t say enough good things about this brand!
Nail Gloss
I’m the girl who gets a manicure once a year. I honestly just prioritize other things to spend my time and money on. And let’s be real - bare nails are chic these days! But this polish is legit. I put it on between meetings and it immediately added a little dose of color and shine to my nails - kinda like a nail gloss. It makes me feel fancy and a little more put together!
Rugby Dress
Dress (similar - I would size up!), socks, shoes
I ordered this dress from Gap on a whim, and man do I love it! It’s so soft and cozy, but also give major cool girl vibes. I was going to style it with simple flats, or maybe even some western boots to keep things a little off-kilter. But this felt like a good opportunity to do a socks and sandals situation.
Overalls
Overalls (similar), tank, flats
A classic pair of Levi’s overalls, a simple tank, and some girly flats. I will absolutely put a red sweater and loafers these as the temps start to drop.
A couple other things…
If you like candles, this one is great for fall. It was burning in our office and I was so into it!!!
I bought this jacket that I talked about it my last newsletter, and I think it’s going back. The fabric is soft and drapey, and I want it to feel more finished so it would work for rainy days too. Anyways, just wanted you to know! I may take a wild left turn and go for one like this instead.
